# My AI editor, and I am the boss

_11 October 2026_

My good blog posts rarely fail because of ideas. They fail because of time. On the go I see an exciting article, a talk or a graphic and think "I should write about that". Three weeks later I no longer know where the link was.

So I built myself a small editorial office. With exactly one editor, who never gets tired, and exactly one editor-in-chief: me.

## How it works

1. **Collect.** Whatever interests me, I send by email to a dedicated collection inbox: a link, a few keywords, and a PDF, photos or slides as an attachment if I like.
2. **Write.** When I say "turn this into a post", Claude writes a draft, in my tone and structured like the other posts here.
3. **Review.** I see the draft in the back end of the website exactly as it would look in the blog. Below it are three buttons: *approve*, *have it revised* or *discard*.
4. **Publish.** Only after my approval does the post move into the blog.

## Why not fully automatic?

Because my name is on it. An AI can summarise, structure and phrase things brilliantly. But it does not know what I think myself, what I want to leave out or where a sentence sounds too pushy. That decision stays with me. The AI takes the legwork off my hands, not the judgement.

## My conclusion after the first day

The best moment is the "Have it revised" button: one sentence like "shorter introduction, more examples from Tyrol", and shortly afterwards the new version is there. This makes writing fun again.
